Discrete manufacturing company B

Introduced Dynamics ® AX at an overseas production site

―Rebuilt the core system with Dynamics AX to improve operational accuracy and efficiency―

Background and aims of introduction

The company needed to quickly address the challenges such as responding to operational needs in handling various forms of orders and refining the accuracy of lot tracing, preventing omission of orders and input errors in receiving, manufacturing, and shipping results for higher operational accuracy, and improving the operational efficiency by reducing the number of man-hours required to place orders.

  • Rebuilt the core system with Microsoft Dynamics AX.
  • Reviewed the operations according to the standard work flow and constructed a system to match it.
  • Implemented bar-coding of identification tags, realized real-time data checking and performance data collection using handy terminals, and adopted the lot management function of Dynamics AX.

Developed these functions as the company's own templates for Dynamics AX to be used as a foundation for streamlining future deployment to other locations.
